對這個英文字 ain't

印象中只有 He ain't heavy, he is my brother 這首歌聽過

今天我就好好的去瞭解一下這個字的用法

簡單說就是"不是"

中文"不是"不管那個人稱都一樣

英文則需看主詞稱謂決定"不是"的 be 動詞 (am/ are/ is)

但用了 ain't

He is not ... 可用 He ain't ...

You are not ... 可用 You ain't ...

I am not ... 可用 I ain't ...

另外 doesn't, don't, didn't 也可用 ain't 替代

I ain't know. => I don't know

He ain't go there. => He doesn't go there

根據 Wiki 的說明, 最早出現是在 1695

William Congreve 寫出 "I can hear you farther off, I an't deaf..."
